Raquel Bubar leads the international arm of T Brand, the content studio of New York Times Advertising, which includes creative and strategy teams in London, Paris and Singapore. Launched in 2015 to represent an international push into global creative partnerships, Raquel built its reputation for high-quality branded content around the world with advertisers that include Birkenstock, Cartier, L'Oreal Groupe, Wellcome and Unilever.
Raquel was named in the 100 Significant Women in Native Advertising and was shortlisted for Campaign U.K.’s Inspiring Women in the category of Conquering Creativity in 2024. She has been a judge and co-chair of the World Media Awards and Native Advertising Awards, in addition to a speaker at events in Cannes. She has also spoken at IAA-U.K., IAB-Madrid, City Nation Place, nextMedia.Hamburg, VideoWeek London and AdWeek Europe.
Raquel first joined The New York Times in the New York headquarters before relocating to London to launch creative operations in Europe and Asia. Prior to T Brand Studio, Raquel led digital public relations at Edelman. She has a M.A. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. in History and Psychology from Brandeis University. She is originally from Washington, D.C. and now lives in Ealing, in West London with her husband and son.
