About this speaker
Mark is a passionate audio nerd who has devoted his life to the pursuit of making things sound better. After graduating at the top of his class in Music Production, Mark has spent 14 years journeying the world of Audio Post-Production, recording Anime Voiceover, Foley and ADR, and mixing at Western Canada’s largest Audio Post studio for Film and Television.
His latest quest is making Podcasts sound exceptional; he served as a Sound Design lead at Pacific Content, mentoring a team of Sound Designers and teaching Binaural Audio & Dolby Atmos mixing.
His work has been recognized by The Tribeca Film Festival, The Webby Awards, Adweek’s Podcast of the Year, and the Signal Awards. Balancing emotion, craft, and technical skill is a challenge he is excited to continue.
